Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that the server records in log files: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system.

We need this to deliver the site and to keep it secure and stable (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after 14 days at the latest. Hetzner processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, and only when you choose a language (with the EN / DE switch, or through a link that sets the language). It is called lang, holds en or de and expires after one year. It keeps the language you chose when you come back.

Because it only stores a choice you made yourself, it is strictly necessary for the service you asked for and needs no consent (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). There are no other cookies, and nothing is stored on your device for tracking or advertising.

Fonts and media

All fonts, pictures and films are served from our own server. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts, a video platform or any other third party when you visit the site.

Email

If you write to us, we use your address and what you send to answer you (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). We delete it when it is no longer needed, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17)
• restrict its processing (Art. 18) and receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21)
• complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77)
